These photos are not the best. I got to GI late on a cloudy and VERY windy afternoon. So windy, in fact, that they closed the island and sent everyone back to Manhattan an hour early.

The highlight of my visit was finding the hospital building unlocked.When the Coast Guard moved out, they left nothing behind except some loose wires, a key box, and a very cool exit sign (40's, maybe??). I would have like to explore the other floors in hopes of finding an operating room or something really intriguing, but if I did, I might have had to sleep there due to the early closing.
